STIMULUS PAYMENTS

A $2 trillion economic relief plan was recently approved by the government to assist American households.  Most adults will receive $1200 and most children will receive $500.

Stimulus Payment FAQs:

  • When will payments be distributed? The IRS is planning to deposit/mail checks within the first three weeks of April.

  • Do I need to apply? Most households will not need to take action to receive this payment. The IRS will automatically calculate and send to those who are eligible.

  • How will I receive the money? If the IRS has your banking information, the money will be direct deposited. If they do not, the IRS is creating an online portal where individuals can provide their banking information. If banking information is not provided, a physical check will be mailed.

Additional information can be found on the IRS website by clicking here.

RENT PAYMENT ASSISTANCE

We understand there may be a delay in your ability to access benefits, therefore, making it difficult to make your full rent payment. If that’s the case, please talk to us. We are offering a number of rent flexibility options including payment plans, waived late fees, and other options. We’re all in this together and all deserve safe and clean housing. If rental payments stop flowing, community stability and safety will be disrupted, just when peace of mind is most needed.
